I hate the way you talk to me,
And the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots
And the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
It even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you’re always right,
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
Even worse when you make me cry
I hate it when you’re not around,
And the fact that you didn’t call
But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you,
Not even close…
Not even a little bit…
Not even at all.
No I didn't write this. It's from the movie 10 Things I Hate About You which is my favorite movie. And it describes EXACTLY how I'm feeling right now.
~In the words of the Grammar Snob.....I tend to curse and make little things seem like BIG FREAKING THINGS and overreact and think the world revolves around me. BUT! I can be sweet and charming sometimes. You should focus on those times.~

A Democratic President is inevitable....
When it comes to politics I am very middle of the road. I have very strong views but they swing on a conservative to liberal pendulum abruptly. I believe that Americans want change so that means a Democratic President is inevitable. As much as I would like to someday see a woman president I fear that this country can't handle another Clinton administration. From what I've seen of Hilary Clinton there seems to be a lack of integrity that is needed in a president. So it looks like I'll be hitching my wagon to the Obama train. And don't get me started on the Republican candidates. I don't even want to go there!

Weekend Snapshot
The kids went to a b-day party today at UBounce. They had a blast. I did NOT have a blast trying to find the place. It was out in Goodyear and I don't know that area AT ALL. And of course I got up and played w/ the kids. I haven't had a rug burn in YEARS! LOL
In other news I've gotten a job as a Karaoke Host! I am so excited! It's great to be able to make money at something you love doing! I start at Native New Yorker in mid February.

Tax Rebates
You don't know how happy this makes me!
I don't believe this has actually passed yet but I'm hoping!
Read more about tax rebates
Individual taxpayers would get up to $600 in rebates, working couples $1,200 and those with children an additional $300 per child under the agreement. In a key concession to Democrats, 35 million families who make at least $3,000 but don't pay taxes would get $300 rebates.

Rest in Peace Heath Ledger
I know most people won't understand why I'm so upset about this. It's a compound of the fact that I have adored this man since I was 18 and the fact that he is my SECOND major celebrity crush to die via suicide (the first being Jonathan Brandis Nov, 12th 2003). I know it's rediculous because I didn't know him AT ALL. I don't know if I believe he committed suicide though. I had a friend die of accidental overdose of pain medication. She just took too much because she was in physical pain. I just have to look at the fact that he had an appointment with a massage therapist and took some sleeping pills and wonder if he was in pain and didn't realize how much he was taking. Who knows. We'll never know. But I will not jump to conclusions. He will forever be in my heart. My heart goes out to his family, his daughter, and everyone else touched by this.

Actor Heath Ledger Is Found Dead
By Sewell Chan
The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment building at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, according to the New York City police. Mr. Ledger was 28.
At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building for an appointment with Mr. Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities. The police said they did not suspect foul play. Officials said pills fear found near the body.
Mr. Ledger, a native of Perth, Australia, won acclaim for his role as a co-star in “Brokeback Mountain”, a 2005 film. The film, based on a short story by Annie Proulx about two cowboys who fall in love, won critical acclaim. Reviewing the film in The New York Times, the critic Stephen Holden wrote, “Mr. Ledger magically and mysteriously disappears beneath the skin of his lean, sinewy character. It is a great screen performance, as good as the best of Marlon Brando and Sean Penn.”
Mr. Ledger met the actress Michelle Williams while filming ‘’Brokeback Mountain.” The two actors fell into a very public romance. They had a daughter, Matilda Rose, who was born on Oct. 28, 2005. They moved to Brooklyn, but then separated last year.
Calls by The New York Times to Mara Buxbaum, a publicist for Mr. Ledger, and Steve Alexander, the actor’s agent, were not immediately returned this afternoon.
Thomas J. Lueck contributed reporting.

Look into my eyes and tell me how you feel!
1. What is more difficult for you; looking into someone's eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someone's eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
Looking into someone's eyes when they are telling you how they feel.
2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry.
I've thought about it....now what?
3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You get enough time to make ONE phone call. Who would you call?
My mother, probably. Although what about a fire in the back of a plane would make me feel like I had time for anything but grabbing a fire extinguisher! Forget the phone call!
4. You are at the doctor's office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. (A) Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? (B) What do you do with your remaining days? (C) Would you be afraid?
I'd tell people that I'm close to, except maybe my kids. They're kinda young for that. Then I'd spend a lot of time w/ friends and family and have LOTS of fun. I don't know if I'd be afraid. It would depend on WHY I'm dying and how I'm going to die!
5. You can have one of the following two things: trust/love.
Trust....but with who?
6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time you get fired. What do you do?
There isn't a canal on my way to work.
7. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I heart Sushi!
8. Think of the last person who you really knew that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give one year of your life. Do you?
This is a dumb question. Death is not the end.
9. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
Yeah I'm a lot of fun however I tend to get people in trouble so I'd probably stay away from myself!
10. Does love = sex?
nope
11. Your bestfriend dies, what would you do?
I'd mourn for myself. Death is not the end.
12. When and how was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt?
Last week...the week before....the month before. I'm normally honest.
13. What would be harder for you to tell someone you love them or that you do not love them back?
I guess that depends on the person however I tend to be a "pleaser" so I'd sooner tell someone I love them than tell them I didn't love them.
14. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up?
Diet Pepsi
15. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them?
I tell my kids that everyday.
16. If you had to go back in time and change one thing, if you HAD to, even if you had "no regrets" what would it be?"
I would NOT get involved w/ the guy I liked my freshman year.
17. Imagine. It is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. Who do you call?
Ghostbusters! (seriously....I couldn't resist)
18. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying?
If it would help.
19. Are you old fashioned?
ummm...I don't know.
20. Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a heart break or have never loved before?
If I chose to have never loved would my love be erased? And I think true love always has a guarentee of heartbreak. No love is w/out pain no matter how true.
21. If you could do anything OR wish for anything that would come true, what would you do?
I'd love to have healing power.
