I found that I'm a karaoke freak........and I've taken it to a new geeky level! ONLINE KARAOKE!!!!!! The sound quality to this is not great and there's really nothing I can do about it. But afterall it's KARAOKE not a recording studio! LOL

I THINK I look thinner. It's hard to tell (at least to my own eyes). The pic on the left was taken at Christmas time (so about 8 months ago) and the pic on the right was taken today. I think because my hair is up in the 2nd and I'm wearing higher heals it's hard for me to see a difference. Oh well, I do feel better no matter what!

Parents mystify me......

I had this huge ranting blog typed up all about stupid parents and their bad parenting..........then my kid turned my computer off before I had a chance to post it. Now I'm all ranted out and don't feel like typing it all up. Just know that I think parents can be SO DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!

Georgia was stung by a BEE today!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was IN THE HOUSE....and it was UNDER HER DRESS!!!!!!!! By the time I figured out why she was screaming and hitting herself the bee was dead! I nearly FREAKED out! I had to quickly put my mom brain in to take care of her! I gave her benedryl and put her in a baking soda bath. She seems okay now, and there's minimal swelling. POOR THING!

I'm getting this out in JUST the nick of time I guess. Nothing is all that different around here. The kids are all good. Ethan had an EEG this month because we think he may have tourettes. I haven't heard the results of it though. I think all the kids grew a foot this month. We got a new dog this week! Back when we had to put Sassy, our old dog, down I decided we wouldn't have anymore pets because Allen just isn't a pet person. But recently Allen's travel time has doubled, so I'm at the house alone more often. And apparently I'm a BIG CHICKEN. A friend of ours was moving and had to sell her dogs. So Cody got to come home with us. He's an AKC registered chocolate Lab and he is just GREAT! He doesn't speak English though, so he's going to need a little obedience training. I have doubled the amount of Coupon$ense classes I've been teaching and I just recently got a job teaching swim lessons at Teacher Lynda's swim school in Glendale. It's two nights a week and SatAM, so it will work out perfectly. I'm also hoping to get a couple of day care kids ( so if you know anyone looking send them my way!). But everything is pretty good. Hope everyone is well!

Today I walked to Fry's from the kids' school to get FREE electrasol and Lawry's Marinade and then walked back to the school where my car was! Before that I picked A LOT of grapefruit from a lady's house (if I can talk Allen into going back next week I'll get some for the co-op). At one point I locked us out of the house (seriously, my life story lately). In the afternoon I donated blood and then had a few hours to myself because Allen had taken the kids to visit his family. So I went to staples to turn in my old ink cartidges and get envelopes and I came home and made cards.

Well today I walked to and from the school today (just once - 4.5miles) and then ended up leaving my keys on my mom's desk at the school, so I was locked out of the house. It wasn't that big a deal since I was supposed to watch the neighbors kids for a few hours. I just did it at their house instead. I was planning on doing some major house cleaning here, but since I couldn't and had kind of had myself psyched for it I cleaned my neighbors house a little. Vacuumed, swept, spot mopped w/ a towel, ran a load of dishes, and a load of laundry, cleaned off her counter, and wiped down her kids' table and chairs. I was too tired to do anymore, but I think she was pleased w/ it and I was happy to do it since I had nothing else to do! LOL

9 MILES!!!!!!!!!!

I am so stoked! I have been pretty much consistantly walking to and from my kids school once a day for a couple weeks now (actually I've been doing it on and off all year, but really didn't walk AT ALL while I was caring for my g'pa), which is 4.5 miles round trip. Well today I did it TWICE!!!! I am totally exhausted, but feel so GREAT! The first 2.2mi I pushed about 125lbs, and the last 2.2 I pushed about 75lbs, and inbetween I pushed 25lbs or more (yes, these lbs were my kids). I plan on keeping up on my once a day, but adding the twice a day maybe 2 times a week until I'm built up. I doubt I'll ever build up to 3 times a day, at least not with the heat coming on! But I am just so excited! I hate to say that I'm proud of myself.............but I am!
