I am soooooooooooooooooooo behind in my blogging. I just downloaded almost 500 pics off my phone and that's just from May! So I'm gonna do some pic blogs to catch up. I VOW to get my blogging back to a regular thing I do!

We've been taking daily walks around our Condo's lake and then swimming. Trying to make the most of our last week of summer vaca!

The 'In Crowd'

I woke up today thinking about friendships, and how life is still exactly like high school sometimes. I think in my line of work people consider me part of the 'in crowd' and I know SO many people strive to get into this crowd. Whether it be at work, in a social setting, with family there always seems to be an 'in crowd', a person or group that everyone wants to be friends with. What I've realized about myself is I've never been IN the 'in crowd'. I have always hovered around it cautiously, mixing in it occaisionally, but always take myself right back out. I don't think people neccesarily look at me and WANT to be friends with me. As a matter of fact I think it's the opposite. I think people usually set out to not like me, and end up liking me anyway cuz I'm kinda infectuous. I've never thought of myself as anti-social but I definitely have issues when it comes to social circles. The fact that I find most people completely rediculous probably doesn't help. The fact that I speak my mind and use very little filter probably doesn't help either. I enjoy WATCHING people, even the stupid ones. It's hard to be IN a crowd when you prefer to sit quietly and watch the crowd.

Today is my dad's birthday. I think he's officially Bob to me. He has chosen to have no relationship with me and after years of it tormenting me, I'm just washing my hands of it. I do wish him a very happy day.

Today is the anniversary of my grandmother's death, my dad's mother. It may be why he is on my mind. I wasn't close to my dad's parents, but I feel we were closer than me and my dad were because they actually made an effort to communicate a little with me over the years. I loved my grandparents. They had good hearts.

Today I got papers from the Peoria Police department. Cori and Ethan have been chosen to be involved with Shop-With-A-Cop. They get to eat breakfast and have a ride with a police officer and then get to go Christmas shopping for themselves. I think they will have a blast!

Today I worked at the pool and there must have been something in the water! It was Onery Tuesday! Just about Every kid seemed to be possesed by the devil! About 4 classes in, I gave up and just decided to have fun with them! It was a fun evening. Being in the pool seemed to make my feet feel better. They were so so sore yesterday and were so swollen they looked like hobbit feet!

Today I missed my love and look forward to the Holiday weekend with him.

Today I got my oil changed. No more clickity-click noise!

Today I cleaned my mom's house because I had nothing else to do!

Today was a good day. I'm glad that I'll be done with work in about 30 minutes. I wish I was going home to my love, but I'm looking forward to seeing him in the morning.

I'm glad today is over. ;)

Why we should equate donuts to sex!

I've been playing around with losing weight for a couple years now. I do well for a while and go down then I get lazy or something and go back up. I've been trying to add more excersize but it seems lately I just can't get my eating under control. I've been eating like crap lately! I get bored or in some kind of slump and I just eat junk! I've been on a Boston Cream donut kick lately, probably thanks to my daughter, Lil g, and her damn sweet tooth! Well last week I said no more donuts! Today I'm feeling down because of some potential life changing decisions and what do I do? I go straight for a damn donut! So I eat the donut and then an amazing epiphony hit me! That donut was the same as a one-night stand! It looked delicious and it gave me a few minutes of pleasure, and then left me with a stomach ache and regret. I've only ever gotten one good thing out of random sex, and I've never gotten anything good from a donut! I think if everyone look at their vices in this same light we'd all live healthier happier lives! Why do something if it's only going to give you momentary pleasure and leave you with regret? This has really given me something to think about! I definitely have a few more vices I need to concer!

My grandma has pictures plastered everywhere of my grandpa at her house now. He passed away March 13, 2009. I didn't realize how hard it was for me to look at them until the other day. My grandpa was the most important man in my life for 23 years (until my son was born). He taught me just about everything I know. I attribute 80% of my positive attributes to him and about 40% of my negative attributes as well. He was an amazing man, with an amazing life, and amazing stories. I am able to take care of quite a few things on a car because of him. I am able to problem solve very well because of him. I am unable to tolerate stupid people because of him (see, it's a catch 22). I know there are things in my life, past, present, and future, that he would not be okay with. I can hear his voice in my head when I have a decision to make. But without a shadow of a doubt I KNOW that man loved me. And I know he loved me for who I am, even if he didn't agree with me. I think it's very hard to disagree with a person and yet show them love at the same time and yet he managed to do just that every day. I am glad to say that when it comes to him I have a clean conscience. I know I did right by him and I know I continue to do right by him by making sure the love of his life is ok. He loved my grandma more than anything. I don't think there is anything that he wouldn't have done for her. It is purely his example that I now realize what true love is. I feel bad for people who didn't get to know my grandpa. A lot of people will have a lot of bad things to say about 'Howard'. He was very outspoken. In his mind he knew what was right and that was it. Unfortunately, I think a lot of people only saw this. If you're quick to judge, or quick to be offended, then you wouldn't have liked him. But if you talked to him with an open-heart, knowing that you may not agree with him, but knowing you are talking to a man who stands up for what he believes in with more integrity than you ever thought possible, then you would love him. He is an amazing example to me of how a person should be. I can see in me the things that are good from him and I try to utilize them to the best of my ability. I see the things in me from him that are not so great and I do my best to turn those stumbling blocks into stepping stones. I am a strong person with a strong work ethic that can problem solve my way out of anything. For that and everything else he has given me I will always be truly greatful and hold him in my heart.

ps-if you're a person that has no, or doesn't use any, common sense, know that I plaster on a smile and keep my comments to myself. :)

I heard this as a speech topic at a conference and it seems to come back to me quite often now. I've felt lately that I'm just stuck in this horrible rut with no way out. I want out really badly, I just can't figure out how. So I've realized how negative I have allowed myself to become and have decided that that is the thing I can do something about. So I've got to force myself to do this more. I always have so many thoughts going through my head and it's hard for me to get my ADD to let me sit down long enough.

This AM I got up with my kiddos at 6 and spent the morning getting them and my mom ready to get out the door. This is no small task. Our goal of getting the kids to their dad by 7:30 ended up being closer to 8:00. Then I dropped mom at her school and went to get Rob. I was pretty late, which I always feel so bad about. This morning was just such a gorgeous day and I had had such a good time with my kids the last couple days that there was just nothing that was going to bring me down.

Got to the apartment pretty close to 9:30 which didn't give poor Rob any time to lay down at all. I threw the sheets in the washer and started in on the dishes. I showered and took a computer/nap break. I was really tired but had such a hard time falling asleep. I have so many things on my mind including my best friend going through an awful time right now and me having my hands tied and unable to help her. I miss her so much.

Finally fell asleep and slept until Rob came home on his lunch break around 1:30. I got about 15 minutes of Rob time, which was not nearly enough, and had a nice salad for lunch. He's so good to me. I continued with the switching of laundry, did another load of dishes, and cleaned the bathroom. Everything is smelling much fresher! I finally got the drying rack put together that I bought 2 weeks ago. Put my first load of laundry to dry on it. We'll see how it goes. I had a house for 7 years and always wanted a clothes line or drying rack to save on the electric bill and never got one! I'm hoping this works out!

I have only lived in an apartment two other times in my life. Once in 2nd grade for about 2 months and once right after high school for about 3 months. I am not used to not being able to walk out my back door without a shirt on. So when I got the drying rack finished I went to take it to the balcony and gave the guy across the way an eye full. I guess it's no worse than seeing a girl in a bikini...but still. Actually that kind of makes me want to do a social experiment that I've thought about before. I would love to have different situations where one girl goes somewhere in a skimpy bikini and another goes to the same place in bra and underwear. It would be an interesting "people watching" situation.

So I swept off the balcony while I was out there and have continued rebooting the laundry. I've got to get everything put away. I'm taking lots of breaks and trying not to kill myself since I have all day tomorrow to get stuff done. I'd like to bust out my spackle here in a minute, but I think I'll wait till after Rob leaves tonight.

That's about it for this post. I plan on writing about the last couple days a little later.

My kiddos are gone to the Ranch so I am enjoying doing....NOTHING! I slept and visited with one of my best friends, Alexis yesterday. Enjoyed a lazy evening with Rob, and ended the night with our friend, Race, doing a little karaoke at Brennan's. Today I was too lazy to get up so Rob took my car to work. I've watched a movie, Becentennial Man, and played around on facebook. I'm gonna get up and do some laundry and clean the kitchen in a bit, but I am hungry so I'm contemplating walking to get food somewhere. I work tonight but still have no kiddos tomorrow so it will be another lazy day!

I yet again have not had the time to blog recently. With work, school, kids, and trying to get some sleep in here or there, I just haven't had the time. So here's an update of my world.

Cori is enjoying the end of her school year. She has made so many girl friends this year, which has me breathing a sigh of relief. She is still swimming at Teacher Lynda's where I work. She is incredible! I think she will be a way better swimmer than I ever was....and I was good!LOL She has also been taking a gymnastics class with her friend, Sierra, once a week and will be taking more ice skating lessons this summer, as well as being on Ironwood's swim team. I'm really looking forward to watching her swim meets! She is growing so tall and beautiful. I am making a goal to spend more one-on-one time with her this summer.

Ethan is still my best boy. He is the sweetest thing on the planet. I love him so much! I won't go into detail of all the medical issues we have been addressing with him, but I feel we're making progress. He just recently got glasses for reading and is so cute in them! He will also be swimming and Ice skating this summer along with Summer School. We made the decision not to hold him back after all. I'm really not sure if it's the right decision, but I don't have a clue what the right one is! He is behind academically because he has had such behaviour issues this year. I really hope that with my mom's help, and a teacher next year who will be more understanding, we will be able to get this very bright wonderful boy up to where he needs to be. I'm determined to love that kid enough to help get him through life!

Georgia, or Lil g, as I call her is one spunky little girl. She finally acclimated to preschool and her teachers are please with her progress. She will be going to Paseo Verde next year because Mrs. Hailey is being transferred there. Mrs. Hailey has been such a blessing to all 3 of my children that I can't imagine putting Lil g anywhere else. I get to spend a lot of one-on-one time with Lil g, and we just have so much fun. She's as ornery as they come! She will be doing swim lessons this summer and skating lessons with the other two as well. I know she's excited.

As for me I am getting ready to enroll in summer school. I'm also preparing to enroll in the Phlebotomy program at PC next Spring. I'm on the road to nursing school but need to take the necessary stepping stones so I can have a decent job while I'm in school. I'm still working at the pool about 10 hours a week or so and hosting karaoke several nights a week. Both things work well in my schedule so that my mom can watch the kids while I'm working. I wish I could find something else to fit in my schedule that would bring in a bit more money. Things are super tight, but I think they are for everyone. I'm looking into donating plasma and other things that might help. Too bad I'm too old to donate my eggs! LOL I make pretty cute kids! LOL I don't think many people read this, it's really more of a journal for me. I need to take a minute and be thankful for a very special person who has come into my life. I'm not ready to put out too many details to the world, but I have been becoming closer and closer to my friend, Rob. He is becoming my closest friend, and dare I say, perhaps the man I will spend my life with. He came in and restored something that shattered in me when I was very little. My dad wasn't around hardly at all. He didn't help my mom support us very much. And after a minor falling out I haven't spoken to him since right after Ethan was born in 2003. It's sad, and I wish it were different, but him not being in my life killed something inside of me at a young age. I had very little faith in men. Rob has breathed some new life in me and has given me a sense of hope. I am looking forward to introducing him into my life with my kids and my family. Now for the couple people who are reading this DO NOT PANIC! I am not rushing into anything anytime soon! I'm being careful and cautious, but know that I wouldn't introduce a person into my kids' lives if he weren't the best thing for me or them.

Well at the moment I don't have daily access to a computer and I have started school. That is the reason my blog has fallen dormit. I'm taking my 2nd to last prerequisit in order to get into a nursing program. The class is Biology and it has the potential to swiftly kick me in the booty! I have been studying my poor little brain to death! I think I've studied more for this one class than all my past college AND high school classes combined! We just had our first test last week. I GOT A 94!!!!!!!!!!! I had a feeling I did well on it, but had no idea I had done THAT well. My grade in the class right now is a 90, which is an A....which is FANTASTIC! But if I don't keep studying and probably work even harder than I am that grade will easily fall. Not that a B would be a bad thing, but an A would just be awesome! I think it will give me more confidence going into the next class which is Anatomy. I have never taken an anatomy class so this will be all new to me. At least with the Biology it's all stuff I've had before. Having some prior knowledge really helps in studying and understanding. Maybe I should locate the anatomy book NOW and start reading!

In other news....

Cori just turned 8 in January. I just had a parent/teacher conference with Cori's teacher and she is doing very very well. I am so glad she has Mrs. Harris. Cori is so much happier and has so much more self esteem this year. She isn't as interested in the boys as she was last year (and yes, I am sighing in relief about that!). She seems to have gotten much closer with some of the girls in her class. She (and Ethan) had a birthday party in January that was just a HUGE hit! I see her every day in the cafeteria and all her friends say hi to me and Cori is almost always in a good mood! She is getting so tall and her hair is getting so long! One of these days I'll get my puter back and I'll be able to post recent pictures.

Ethan just turned 6 in January. He has more of a struggle with school because of his disabilities. He can't handle all day Kindergarten yet, so I pull him out at 11:00 everyday. He takes a nap every afternoon which tells me he just isn't mature enough for it yet. Academically he is fine. He is a VERY bright boy. But for the sake of making his schooling less of a struggle for him he will repeat kindergarten next year with the same teacher. Ms. Cluff is so sweet to him. She's a fairly new teacher and doesn't quite know how to handle him or make him comfortable but she is trying very hard. Every day with Ethan is new and different. He is THE sweetest boy in the world! He has incredible vocabulary and talks all the time. His manners are awesome and sometimes I wonder how such a sweet boy came out of me. Then of course there is the Ethan that is very very very difficult to handle. I won't even go into the behaviors we have to deal with on a daily basis. His mild autism and SEVER Sensory Integration Disorder (and possibly ADHD) make Ethan's world different from ours and sometimes difficult for him to navigate. We are working very hard on giving him the tools he will need the rest of his life to deal with day to day stressers. I believe with as much effort we are putting into him and his therapy that he will be a very successful adult. We hope to get him into Hockey year round. He loves it and it helps with his disabilities.

Georgia (will be 4 in July), or Lil g as I call her, is such a spitfire. She has the most of both me and he father mixed in her, which can be a deadly combination. She does what SHE wants to do. She is not a bad little girl. For the most part she is a deliriously happy, energetic, little ball of fun. She's easily tickled out of a bad mood. She loves to terrorize her brother (poor little guy) and forgets very easily where fun stops and naughtiness begins. She is doing well in preschool. She has Mrs. Hailey and Mrs. Benggstein (sp?) which are the same teachers Cori and Ethan had. We absolutely LOVE these two teachers. They are awesome! Lil g is probably the least behaved of my 3 kids for them. I can tell by the way they look at her that they loved Ethan more! LOL (Ethan was absolutely perfect for them because their classroom was a perfect balance of stimulation for Ethan) Not that they don't love Georgia, but I can see times that if she weren't my child and SO stinkin' cute that I may not like her as much either!

Other than that I am still working at the pool and hosting karaoke several nights a week. I am lucky to have so much help from my mom and sister so that I can get enough sleep to function well on a daily basis. My life is not without disapointment and I am struggling with some depression at the moment. But I choose not to dwell on the negative. I have very specific goals and see them playing out in the next 3-5 years.

Ethan has been recently diagnosed with low-grade Autism Spectrum Disorder. He has been having a lot of trouble in school this year. Of course we've been aware of some of the minor and seperate issues he's had over years (blocked bowells, sensativity to noise, SID, Apraxia, Tics, OCD, etc) and I have been trying to get a Doctor to give me some kind of diganosis for each of these things individually. But I had no idea that all these issue combine equal autism. The nail in the autism coffin is that he has become violent. Of course he is still the sweet loving Ethan we know, but when something sets him off he tends to hurt people to make them stop what they're doing. A couple months back he walked across his kinder room and cut a little girl with scissors (thank goodness she didn't get more than just a scratch). When asked why he did this he said that she was making too much noise and wouldn't be quiet. I am so sad to see him struggling like this and we are doing everything in our power to help him. His preschool teachers are just so shocked by everything I have told them because, although they noticed the individual problems, they never once had a problem with Ethan like we're having this year. He only goes to school half day. I pick him up everyday at 11 right after lunch. This hasn't solved the problem although he comes home everyday and has a nap and I'm sure he needs them. He is doing fine acidemically, doing everything at grade level. Besides getting him the appropriate therapies we will be holding him back so that he can do Kindergarten again as a more mature little boy. If we let him continue onto 1st grade next year I know he will just stil further and further behind. So this situation has been pretty rough, but we have been dealing with it for years without a name. Now it just has a name and actual things we can do to help this little boy adjust and settle into a pretty normal life.

I paid $1.99 for gas today!!! This makes me so happy! It also makes me want to go buy some gas cans and store gas for when it sky rockets back up! LOL

I've lost my patience as a mother today.

I'm looking forward to seeing an old friend tomorrow.

So I was re-reading my sent text messages last night and they are quite strange.

11:27pm - To: Facebook Status - Gigi is tired.....& surprisingly bored!
* I didn't have a whole lot of people to talk to at work last night. Which is wierd.

12:45pm - To: Rob - Goodness now Bambie is hitting on me!
* last night seemed to be MY night in terms of people wanting me! LOL

1:32am - To: Facebook Status - Gigi should try Secret by Madonna
* Just a mental note about a song I want to try. I had several of these texts, but my phone only stores 30 sent texts! grrrr

1:40am - To: Facebook Status - Gigi is wondering what the chances are she's going 2 make 75bucks 2nite
* Actually the chances were good! LOL

1:49am - To: Facebook Status - Gigi thinks people are clueless.
* I'm not sure what I was talking about here

1:54am - To: Bob - Except for Ro I think You have questionable taste in women.
* Just an observation to a friend!

1:58am - To: Facebook Satus - Gigi thinks Silver Sprigns is a GREAT way to end the night. And yes that was sarcasm!
* The chica who had the last song picked the LONGEST, most BORING song to sing!

2:25am - To: Facebook Status - Gig is headed hom and thinks her friends are crazy.
* I don't remember who I was referring to!

2:36am - To: Rob - I am home finlly. Heading to bed soon. I need a night lite in my room and a small keychain for my keys.
* Telling Rob I made it home safely and the bit about the lights was just for a reminder for me.

I wish my phone stored more than 30 sent messages. I had quite a few funny texts because I was so bored, but I've been texting people all morning.

1. Where is the furthest place that you have traveled and how far away from home is it? Choctaw, Oklahoma...isn't that sad?

2. What is a blog that you would recommend for us to read and why? Go Fug Yourself

3. What is the biggest surprise you ever have had and was it a good one?That I was pregnant?? The verdict is still out on whether it's a good thing though!

4. What is your favorite quote? Look to the right under my picture!

5. Have you ever been hospitalized for a major health situation?I don't know if it's MAJOR but I was in the hospital for 4 days with pneumonia back n 2004.

6. Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself?My hair is the bane of my existence! I don't like it the same all the time. I get bored of it. It's horribly damaged right now and falls out in CLUMPS in the shower. I may have NO hair soon!

7. What was your favorite amusement park ride growing up?Considering I grew up here in AZ and we didn't have an "amusement park" until like 1996 I don't think I had a favorite. Oh and amusement park is in quotes because I'm really not sure you can call Castles and Coasters and amusement park!

8. How long do you talk on your phone on a typical day?If I had my way I wouldn't talk on it AT ALL! I hate the phone! But unfortunately my mother thinks that we need to talk every day! *wink*

9. Other than Saturday 9, what is your favorite meme to do each week?Wordless Wednesday because I'm lazy and it's easier just to throw up a picture instead of having to write in my blog! And I would have linked you to the Wordless Wednesday blog but it keeps freezing up my computer.

November 1st
1. Were you raised around a lot of sports? Yeah my family is a sports family. We played sports...we watched sports. I think my grandpa wishes we were all boys! My mom was a catcher in a boys baseball league!

2. What is your favorite sport?I love playing softball. I love watching live baseball. I think Lacrosse is awesome. I will watching ANY sport live though!

3. When did you last play a sport?I played a little Volleyball and Softball this year.

4. When did you last attend a professional sporting event and what was it?I went to a Phoenix Coyotes game last week (or was it the week before?).

5. What was the last sport you watch on TV? I usually catch some football game when I'm working.

6. If you have children, do they play the same sports that you did? If not, someday if you have kids, would you like them to?My kids all swim and that was my main thing growing up.

7. Do you think other people care too much about sports?How can you care too much about sports?? They're fun and great exercise!

2. What was it about?He wouldn't get out of the pool and thought he could push my buttons. He learned real quick.

3. Were you totally right or totally wrong?I'm the mom, of course I was right!

4. If wrong, how long until you realized it? If right, how long until the other person realized it?He's 5, the only thing he realized is that mommy doesn't mess around.

5. Did you go a lengthy of time without speaking?Now THAT would be childish!

7. Do you feel the situation is resolved now?I'm sure he'll keep pushing buttons. After all, he's a kid.

Okay I just watched Domestic Disturbance and I really thought Vince Vaughn was too skinny and that he was hotter when he had a few more pounds on him. So I went to Photobucket to get some pictures as proof and alas I was wrong. Vince Vaghn is just plain hot. I'm drooling.

The strange people I saw today!

Man I wish I could safely take pictures while driving down the road! Today was the day for off people sightings! First driving home this morning on the 51 I saw someone riding one of these

....but he wasn't sitting on the seat, he was sitting on the gas tank! And I watched him ride this way for at least a quarter of a mile before I got off the freeway! We were going SIXTY MILES PER HOUR!! This just seemed incredibly stupid and dangerous! I so wanted to take a picture, but that would have been stupid and dangerous too! THEN I was driving past the K-mart at Northern and I-17 and I saw a girl holding one of those advertising signs on the corner....wearing a french maid's outfit over jeans! And I'm pretty sure she wasn't advertising Halloween costumes! Finally, I was having lunch with my BFF at Taco Bell when Queen Amidala walked in!

Except that the girls HAIR actually looked like this! It wasn't a ceremonial headdress! D and I tried to discretely take a piture, but it just wasn't happening.

*Let's just start with the fact that I woke up totally exhausted
*My feet seem to be getting worse again
*Ethan had a HORRIBLE day at school! Throwing tantrums AND chairs!
*I got a flat tire that couldn't be fixed
*When I jacked up my car to change the tire the jack BROKE IN HALF!
*A crazy man tried to help/rape me.
*My side gate was open when I got home. I can't tell if anything is missing.

One of my favorite blogs to read is Go Fug Yourself . The fug girls crack me up! I'm sad on the weekends when the fug girls take time off from posting. So today I'm reading along laughing and I see this post(this link isn't working anymore so click on the above link to the fug blog and scroll down to the yellow dress...you can't miss it!). They're going on and on about the yellow dress...is it great...is it not....is Terri Hatcher's better...whatever but not ONE mention of the TWO giant neon colored elephants standing behind Mariska Hargitay!! The dude looks like a less frightening version of Marilyn Manson and the girl looks like a very PINK Pippy Longstocking dressed as a Harajuku Girl! Keep in mind these were NOT Halloween costumes! This was a photo on the Red Carpet at the Emmy's! And just who ARE these people?? They are on the star-studed side of the velvet rope, so they must have been invited! I really don't think Mariska or Terri's dresses was either Fab or Fug...both were alright. But will SOMEONE please comment on the clowns of the Red Carpet!!!!

*update-so I've learned the identities of these two people. They are Kynt and Vyxsin from the Greatest Race and they are soooo growing on me!

This video is amazing and I am so impressed with these two! Once you get past the clothes they seem to be amazing people. And once you realize they're amazing people you want to embrace the look! LOL

I never watch the Greatest Race but I wish I had now!!! I have looked at everything YouTube has on these two! I love them! I know my initial reaction was one of shock but that shock has turned to awe! I so want Vixsin's hair...although I'd go with red cuz I'm more of a red girl. And I would LOVE to just LOOK at her closet! She's seems to be an accessory girl like me and I bet I'd have FUN!!!! I would love to buy these two a drink some night! I bet they'd even sing some karaoke with me (well that is if I by some miracle was able to meet them). I'm headed to hot topic next week to check out their clothing line! And I have a sudden urge to go back to Transylvania. Haven't been there since one Friday the 13th last year! I was also very glad to see they had a MySpace. Bottom line if these two ever came to Phoenix they'd so have someone to party with!

*update-Okay now I'm convinced that Kynt totally rocks! On his MySpace there is a photo of him and Vyxsin on the Rosie O'Donnel cruise (I <3 Rosie!) wearing a ZEBRA STRIPED SWEATER!!!!!!!!! You all know I'm all about the Zebra stripe (and actually giraffe print rocks too....just no cheata print please! So over done....but I digress)

Well I'm basking in the fact that my kids are out of town and I can SLEEP!!! I will actually end up working too, but that's okay! LOL

Went out with some friends and did karaoke. Didn't end up even seeing fireworks! LOL

I live 2 inches above hell in hot Phoenix. I have no idea if it's been hotter or cooler this year. Once it reaches 100 degrees I think heat is all relative. Recently it's been way too humid. I can handle a million degrees of dry heat but as soon as you add humidity I am sick. Literally sick to my stomach! My grandmother calls it "Summers Complaint".

I HATE when people say they'll do something and then don't!!!! Especially when it's an intentional "yeah yeah I'll do it" when the whole time they had no intention of doing it at all. If you're not going to do what I've asked just tell me. I may be mad but I'll still have respect for you and know you have some integrity. I am trying to do some cleaning and rearranging that Allen asked me to do. I got to a point where I need him to move a heavy table for me. He told me yesterday he would move it. This morning when it hadn't been done I indicated I still needed the table moved and by his reaction I knew he had no intention of moving it. He only told me he would to shut me up! I am so flippin irritated! And I knew there was no point in arguing with him about it because he would just say more things to shut me up! So I shut myself up instead.

And as a side...I do understand that people get busy and sometimes things get left undone unintentionally. This doesn't bother me as I know I sometimes do this as well. But I am apologetic and get the thing done as soon as I can!!

And let's get some POSITIVE going in this post! I don't post my to-do lists very often. I'm sure if I did I'd get more done! LOL But anywho I wanted to mention what I got done yesterday. Besides laundry, dishes, and regular stuff I am working on cleaning/ducluttering my "craft" room. I've stopped crafting (for the most part anyway...I'm now doing digital scrapbooking because it takes less space) and we're going to turn my craft room into the girls room. So yesterday I got a HUGE area cleaned up. The recycling and regular garbage cans were packed (thank goodness today is trash day). My trunk is FULL of stuff to take to Goodwill. I've got 2 big boxes of craft supplies to take to a scrapbooking friend of mine.

My goal today is to get the rest of the laundry put away and wash one more load and rearrange the furniture in the living room. I sold an old decorative sewing machine this week so now I have more room (and one less thing to dust)!

The day is just barely half over and I am already whole tired! I actually got to sleep in because my sister had Lil g last night. So I picked her up at 10. Then we went to the school it being 11:00 early release. So we played in the heat waiting for Cori and Ethan and once the kids came out we waited even longer because Ethan made a little girlfriend and wanted to go play at her house. Of course this little girls mom was the LAST parent to show up! Oh well she seemed nice and I'll call her next week and make arrangements. Then I drove through McDonald's and got chicken nuggets and french fries for the kids to eat. We had to run home to get Lil g clean pants and underwear (I HATE POTTY TRAINING). After that we headed to Ross to buy new pillows and bed sheets for the trailer (which reminds me I have to make a flag for them...grrrr). Allen and the kids' are going to the Shreeve family reunion next week and taking the trailer. So now we're home....I'm hot...the kids are relatively quiet....but I'm not done. My mom will take Lil g for a hair cut this afternoon and I'll have to pick her up from there at 5:30 for swim lessons at 6:00. Hopefully someone will meet me at the pool at 6:30 to take the kids home so I can get going with my evening. Which also means I have to be dressed and pretty before I leave to get Lil g at 5:30! AHHHHH Did I mention I'm tired??

This woman confuses me. I don't know whether I like her or not. I loved the movie "The Other Sister”. I had no idea she had a band. I have no idea whether I like her music. She has one of those voices that confuses me. She's no Christina Aguilera, whom I adore, but then again who needs another one of those?? Her voice isn't perfect but thank goodness she isn't covering it up w/ special effects and synthesizers. I like her song ”Sticky Honey” (despite how weird the video is) but I'm not sure I should. Is liking this song the same as liking Hole’s ”Celebrity Skin? She can’t dress...or does she just dress the way that makes her comfortable which is just great in my book. Is her weirdness over the top?? I think it ROCKS that she started a band at 30...gives me hope for myself. I'm confused! I want to like her because the media tells me not to. But is the media telling me not to like her as a form of reverse psychology so that I actually WILL like her? grrrr...I will think about this more and let you know! I may have to buy her CD so I can play it in loop to decide!

When I was a kid I was so good at writing in a journal everyday. Now I have all this technology at my finger tips and I can't manage to journal once a month now. I'm pretty sure no one reads this which is totally okay. This is mostly for me. I'm not one of those bloggers that only talks about my kids. As a matter of fact I'm too selfish to be one of those moms. I'm not saying those moms are bad. I wish I could be one of those people who live completely for their kids but sadly in my world the earth rotates around me. I have to admit I'm aprehensive about writing a lot of things in my life in such a public forum. Quite frankly most the things I think would just scare people! LOL I know I look all sweet and innocent but underneath that lies a very complicated person. See I already feel like I've said too much.

So I think I've decided to go back to school and finish my RN. The prospect of going back to school scares me. I'm smart but I'm not a sit down and study person. I never was. In high school I got away w/ doing NOTHING and still made the honor roll. Sadly that was 10 years ago and my brain is a little dusty. Plus college is a whole different ball game. I can't just float through. I actually have to learn something! LOL So the task of school is daunting but I'm going to dig in and do it. The payoff will be fantastic when I get done and can actually afford to support myself. I will enjoy paying off all my debt and perhaps moving to a better neighborhood. That would be fantastic!

In other thoughts running through my head....my friend Jeana cleaned out her closet and gave me some new shirts! I'm so excited! I love new clothes! I was getting bored of my wardrobe so it was perfect timing! Now to choose which one I will wear tonight!

And my ADD has no kicked in. I must go do something else!

I was puting up the bulletin board in Primary on Sunday and Cori sat down at the piano and started playing around on it. Georgia ran to the podium, grabbed the mic and when Cori stopped playing yelled "Cori PLAY! I need to sing!". I just about DIED laughing!

Oh and Ethan is the funniest kid. He amuzes me! He's into "Transformers" (grandma isn't too happy about it) and today he took rubber bands and attached a cup to each of his arms saying he was a transformer and they were his weapons! The kid is so creative!

Cori is always a good girl. She's swimming in her first swim meet of the season on Saturday. She's doing backstroke and butterfly! I'm a proud mama! I'll post more pictures later!

I sat down at the computer this morning and I heard this big buzzing sound. I thought for sure some huge insect had gotten in and was trapped somewhere. I looked over at the source of the noise and saw a tiny spark! NOT GOOD! So I turned off the computer and unplugged everything and sure enough one of my extension cords was black and sparking! The amazing thing is it had a piece of plastic over it (a wrapper from some crackers) and didn't catch on fire! It probably was only a matter of time! So crisis abated. We can all go back to our regularly scheduled programs!

NO WORK ON SATURDAY!

I've been trying to get Saturday off for a couple weeks now so I can go to Cori's swim meet. I wasn't having any luck and it was really pissing me off. I cover people shifts at work SO often and no one was willing to help me. Well my boss finally re-arranged the schedule a bit and everything is covered. Thank goodness! Now I can go to Cori's swim meet and teach a Coupon$ense class in the afternoon and host karaoke and MAYBE not be completely wiped out!

Jack crap! LOL Well at the beginning of the week I put on my list to get a pedicure because my feet have been hurting so bad. I did get my pedicure like planned and ended up getting nails too. Last time I go to a place that doesn't speak english. I never know what I'm agreeing too! LOL Actually they look nice and I used to wear acrylic nails all the time, but that was pre-child. It's no fun changing diapers with fake nails. As a matter of fact it's no fun typing with them or picking your nose either. I have yet to go to the bathroom but I recall it not being all that great wiping your butt either. I know I know...TMI!

I'm having serious problems with my feet (skin peeling from the pool...MAYBE a fungus....MAJOR pain from standing on them for 4 hours 3 nights a week on a concrete floor, etc) and my goal this week is to soak them everyday in warm water and epsom salt, get a pedicure on Thursday and buy pool shoes and new tennis shoes. As I sit here typing my feet are soaking!

Allen and I are planning on finally finishing our back room in August so that I can move the girls into that room and rent out one of the front bedrooms. I HAVE to condense my scrapbook stuff to ONE cabinet! I don't scrap as much as I used to so I really need to do this anyway. I plan on spending 15 minutes each day in there decluttering. I worked for 15 minutes out in there tonight. Man it is going to take a LONG TIME to clean that place up! I went through 2 boxes. I made a box of stuff I'm going to give to a scrapper friend of mine (will add more stuff to it everyday and take it to my friend on Sunday)and took a big bin of garbage to the recycle bin. I also brought in a box of stuff that has various things that need to be put away in the house. MUST put those away and not let them sit!

And of course this summer we're doing swim lessons (we're at the pool from 10:45 to 1) and I'm working M,T, W from 3 to 7:30, F 9am to 6pm, and Sat 9am to 4:30pm. I'm hosting karaoke 2-3 nights a week (usually just Thurs and Sat, but sometimes Wed too). Today I got all my coupons clipped and filed while we were at the pool. I went to the bread store before the pool and I've already done my laundry for the day (need to put it away but will do that after work).

This week besides focusing on home blessing (which I'm going to do Tues, Wed AND Thurs) and regular daily chores (laundry, dishes, vacuuming) I'm focusing on this weeks zone. I've made a list of everything that needs to get done however I'll be happy if just a few get done. Something is better than nothing. Fingers crossed...it' s a big list (but I've already done a couple things!).

I still haven't put the laundry away and with the way my feet feel I doubt I'll get it all put away tonight but I'll put a little bit away. I really need to do the dishes but I think I'll save them for Cori to do tomorrow.

Oh and I finally took my car through emissions to day and it passed. Glad that's taken care of!

Well as you can see below I have gotten a few of my items done togay! And thanks to those that I have just saved myself a TON of money! My $600 camera has been missing for a couple months now. I thought it had been stolen out of my car! Well tonight as I was putting all my purses into the front closet I came across my fanny pack and MY CAMERA WAS IN IT!!!!!!!!!! !!!! WOO HOO! I'm so glad I hadn't gone and bought a new one! It was on my list! LOL And now I can take the one my friend gave me (she bought a new one and gave me her old one) and I can give it to my mom who has been wanting a digital camera.

I always have trouble remembering how to spell this word. I googled it to make sure it was right and this site popped up. Someone really wants to make sure we know how to spell it! I have a life list. A list of things I want to do before I die. I'm always updating this list in my head but I've never actually written it down. I've always heard that writing down your goals can be the launching point for actually getting them done. So here's my list not in any particular order. I'm sure I'll continue adding things.
